Arabia Mountain High School's Work-Based Learning Students are Georgia WORK READY and WORKKEYS Certified.

On March 6th, the WBL students sat for the WorkKeys Assessments in Reading for Information, Locating Information, and Applied Mathematics and 100% passed.  All 60 students will receive the National Career Readiness Certification and a graduation cord. The following are their certifications levels:
  • Bronze Level = 7 
  • Silver Level = 45
  • Gold Level = 8

Outstanding technology and engineering educators and students were honored by the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) at its 79th Annual Conference held March 16-18, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.  Among those educators were Arabia Mountain High School's Ezra Thompson, Shenica Mathieu, and Itamar Roberts who accepted the ITEEA Program of Excellence Award for our Engineering and Technology Program.  Congrats to our Engineering and Technology Department for the well deserved recognition! [...click for more]

Ms. Erika Mayfield reports that Arabia Mountain High School FBLA students had a successful state leadership conference this year! Three students from AMHS won and two that will be advancing to the National Leadership Conference this summer in Anaheim California! The three winners are: 
  • Kailah Trice-1st Place-Public Speaking II
  • Jordan Holmond-1st Place-Business Communication
  • Artis Trice-5th Place-Global Business
