<u>Governor's Honors Program Nominations</u>

It is that time of year again to nominate deserving students for the Governor's Honors Program. For those who may not be aware, The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is a residential summer program, held in mid-summer (mid-June to mid-July), for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program. The program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and that is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
The nominating areas include:
  • Agriculture Science
  • Communicative Arts
  • Dance
  • Engineering (Design, Mechanical & Electrical, Mechatronics, or Software)
  • Mathematics
  • Music (Instrumental or Vocal)
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Theater (Performance and Design)
  • Visual Arts
  • World Languages (Chinese, French, German, Latin, Mandarin, Spanish) Native speakers cannot be nominated.
