<u>AMHS 2017 Grads take 4H Honors!</u>

AMHS 2017 graduate Artis Trice competed in the Fruits, Vegetables, and Nuts category and won 1st place and became DeKalb’s second master 4-H’er in more than 18 years. Artis will attend Kennesaw State University in the fall to major in International Affairs. He has been a member of 4-H since 7th grade. Ansley Lockett is also 2017 graduate of Arabia Mountain High School and plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall and pursue a degree in Food Science. Ansley competed in the Food Safety and Preservation project during State Congress. Ansley has been a member of 4-H since 4th grade and competed in DPA every year. Additionally, Dalean Thompson joined 4-H as junior at Arabia Mountain High and completed her first project as a Senior in Environmental Science. Dalean placed third during the State Congress competition. Dalean will also attend Kennesaw State in the fall and major in Environmental Science.
