Nylan's 78 in the windy and rainy conditions at Monroe Golf and Country Club was the 2nd best score of the day, a Walnut Grove player shot 77. Nylan shot 39/39 with 2 double bogeys on the front-nine and 1 on the back-nine. He kept his composure the entire day during the changing conditions, rain suit on, rain suit off, jacket on, jacket off. He also didn't let the double bogeys affect his ability to stay focused and bounce back with a couple birdies.
