Arabia Mountain High School has earned the College Board's AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for expanding young women’s access to AP Computer Science Principles (CSP). This award acknowledges 1,105 schools for their work toward equal gender representation during the 2021-22 school year. AMHS is one of only 832 schools to be recognized for achieving this important result in AP CSP. We especially want to highlight the efforts of AP CSP teacher Ms. LaWana Sanford for her work growing the Computer Science program at AMHS, with a particular focus on equity and diversity.
