What is School Choice?School choice allows public education funds to follow students to the schools or services that best fit their needs - whether that's to a public school, private school, charter school, home school or any other learning environment parents choose for their kids.
ATTENTION ALL 2025-2026 SCHOOL CHOICE APPLICANTS:
School choice lottery results will be emailed to applicants on Friday, December 13, by the DCSD School Choice Office. Please DO NOT contact AMHS for the status of your application. We will find out when you find out! Check for an email from DCSD School Choice on December 13.
All academic and discipline records for NEW STUDENTS ONLY will be required once accepted to AMHS for the 2025-2026 School Year.
