Engineering Students Recognized for Data Science

Congratulations to the finalists of the EVERFI Data Science Competition!

This exciting event took place on February 5, 2025, during Mrs. Mathieu’s 7th Period Engineering Magnet class, where 12 groups and 29 talented students showcased their data science skills through innovative projects.

As part of the Principal Foundation DataSetGo program, students completed the online courses Data Science Foundations and Data Science Foundations: Financial Literacy through EVERFI. This program equips students with essential data science knowledge and highlights its importance in today’s job market. Plus, Principal Foundation offers a $5,000 academic scholarship to an essay-based scholarship winner, celebrated in real time!
