Academics

Students should be completing all assignments by the scheduled deadlines. All grades earned will be calculated in your final class average.

Career Pathway students must have a 2.5 semester GPA and Magnet students must have a 3.0 semester GPA to remain in good academic standing. Falling below the GPA requirement places you in jeopardy of remaining in the program at AMHS. Check with your teachers if you are missing assignments due to absences and work with your teachers to resolve any grading issues.

Atlanta Bar Association Summer Internship

Congratulations to senior Niana Battle on her recent acceptance in one of the 25 slots of the Atlanta Bar Association Summer Law Internship Program! The program offers summer opportunities to Atlanta area high school students interested in learning more about the legal profession. Congratulations Niana!
