TSA State Competition Results
Here are the results for our Arabia Mountain High School TSA chapter.  We took 43 kids to compete against 3000 kids and 250 chapters with 38 competitions.  We only got to compete in 70% of the competitions since we had to return a day early, but we still made it to the top 10, and won Biotechnology and top 10 in 13 more competitions.  
 
 
WBL Program
Hey Juniors, Do you have a job OR would like one? Would you like to use your current job as a part of your class during Senior year? If you answered "Yes", the Work-Based Learning Program might be right for you! See Ms. L. Smith in C218 for more information. Slots are limited and going fast! Also, ALM Sports, in partnership with Fun Xcess, is looking for Summer Camp Leaders/Counselors as well as children to participate in this year's Summer Camp. For more information, stop by the WBL bulletin board. 
Chromebook Charging Station
Students, in emergencey situations only, there is a Chromebook charging station located in the Media Center. Check in at the circulation desk and leave your Chromebook at the station for charging. Be reminded this is NOT for everday use, but to used be in case of emergency.  
SAT/ACT Prep Classes
SAT /ACT Prep classes will be offered to those interested in being better prepared for these tests. Students please see our main page on the school's website for details on the Spring SAT/ACT Prep classes offered by our AMHS PTSA. 
AMHS Snacks for Afterschool Tutorials
Snacks are needed for the Title I Math and Science Afterschool Tutorials.  Parents that would like to receive volunteer hours for donating items for the Afterschool Tutorial may do so by bringing the following items:

Bottled Water, Juice, Gatorade, Powerade

Snacks - Granola bars, assorted chips and crackers

10 hours is required per family - For every $10.05 spent = 1 hr. ($105.00) and receipts are needed.
